Thanks to digital construction plans, very different components can be produced to the highest quality, so that architectural individuality is retained. The prefabrication of walls and ceilings with a lower thickness and the use of a higher proportion of recycled concrete also saves building materials.<\/p><p>In future, we want to manufacture windows, insulation, empty conduits, balconies, stairs, columns and pillars as well as ceilings and walls in our new prefabrication plants under the EMC 2.0 label, thereby achieving a degree of prefabrication of more than 60 percent. Compared to conventional construction methods, this reduces costs by at least a tenth and halves the construction time. The plant we are planning in N\u00f6rvenich is logistically located at an ideal hub between the Benelux countries and the German metropolitan areas on the Rhine and Ruhr. The factory design of EMC 2.0 is modular and adaptable to a wide variety of topographies.
